My pieces are not AI generated. However, my artwork is created through a hybrid digital painting process. I begin with an AI assisted ideation sketch and/or blank canvas image to explore composition, mood, and visual direction, but these sketches/blank images are only starting points.
I then hand paint over them extensively using digital brushes, layered textures, and detailed color work. Every highlight, shadow, and gesture is placed intentionally. The final piece is a digitally hand crafted painting shaped by my artistic choices, not an automated AI output.
My focus is on portraying Black women with depth, softness, resilience, and power, blending the feel of traditional portraiture with the possibilities of contemporary digital tools.
